Filing of nomination forms for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 ended yesterday. Scrutiny of forms was taken up today. In third phase, 94 Parliamentary seats in 12 States and two Union Territories will undergo General Elections on 7th May voting will be for the elections. In Gujarat state, scrutiny of nomination forms was also taken up for by-elections on five Assembly seats.
Regarding Gujarat state nomination forms, 6 in Rajkot, 4 in Junagadh and 5 in Bhavnagar were canceled a total of 15 forms. BJP raised objection against INDIA coalition candidate in Bhavnagar. 6 out of 16 forms were canceled in Rajkot. 22 forms were accepted in Junagadh and 5 forms were canceled in Bhavnagar.
