Shatrughan Sinha says we want temple of Humanity; Yashwant Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha meet fasting Hardik Patel
Today afternoon, two BJP leaders Yashwant Sinha and Shatrughan Sinha visited Ahmedabad to meet and inquire about health of fasting Patidar leader Hardik Patel.
They were accompanied by former Gujarat CM Suresh Mehta and Nana Patole ex BJP MP of Maharashtra.
We gave advise we will carry on this agitation in every corner in India.
Yashwant Sinha narrated story of Nana Patole, why he resigned from Maharashtra BJP when , he was not allowed to raise issue on Maharashtra farmers during a meeting on farmers with PM. In frustration of making him shut, Patole opted to resign.
We fought for Akola farmers and MP farmers. In the coutry farmers are restless and troubled. No farmer can be happy without loan waiver. In some places in country loan waivers have been given then why not in our own Gujarat questioned BJP leader.
Hardik Patel has raised the issue of farmers we are with him.
We hope government will get alert and satisfy the demand of Hardik Patel.
Reservation and farmers both are issue in Gujarat. Those people are out of cover of reservation. Recently, government has formed commission for backward classes, we have to lift people economically and give them benefit of constitutional right.
Shatrughan Sinha said we are not raising question to Congress alone but to all other parties to come forward for issue of farmers and loan waivers to farmers.
Hardik is a youth power and our youth asset, we have preserve him. He has been fasting for so many days but neither state nor central government is concerned about his health.
There is a debt of 74,000 crores on farmers. Shartughan Quoted example of some enterpreneur, who was just offered loan at negligible 0.01 % who could not deliver much as expected. He insisted that farmers should get similar benefits.
Prasing Hardik, Shatrughan added that Hardik has very big fan following. He is idol of sacrifice.
We appeal to government to do justice.
Further updating on our agricultural strength, Shatrughan said have 51% farmer workforce against which our economic output is 17 %.
He appealed more people, in support of Hardik Patel and prayer government on the issue.
Actor-turned-MP said Country is taller than party, party is taller than individual. So interest of nation should come first and not of individual. We always standby the public interest.
Government, should initiate rounds of talks to continue unless amicable solution is arrived. We know ability of Patidars all around, settled abroad and condition of other 90 % from them, their situation is well known to all.
It is paining why Hardik was booked under sedition charges.
We are united on non-political front on humanity ground.
Shatru said let people build Mandir and Masjid but we want temple of humanity.
Yashwant Sinha questioned whay after formation of government, prices of crude oil has sharply fallen from 115$ to 25$ at present, Earlier petroleum companies were passing on 1/3 rd share to people and 1/3 rd to the government. Now entire profit on petroleum goes to government. When new tax structure was framed, values of petroleum products were pulled out of the list.
Yashwant said formerly people used to work in team mode, now there is a team of just 2 people.
