Supreme Court prescribes dress code for advocates

In wake of covid-19 outbreak in India , Supreme Court of India issued a notification on a dress code by Advocates practicing in apex court.

Advocates may wear “plain white-shirt/white-salwar-kameez/ white saree, with a plain-white neck band” during hearings before the Supreme Court through Virtual Court System till medical exigencies exist or until further orders as per directive of  Supreme Court in a circular dated 13 May 2020.
