Toll Tax exemption in Gujarat on 12 state highways effective from 15th August

On toll tax exemption, announcement made by then Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel was upheld by new Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani which will come into effect from 15th August on 12 state highways. Due to decision of making 12 state booths and highways toll exempted Government exchequer will have a financial burden of Rs 150 crores. Passenger cars and ST State Transport run buses will be exempted from toll tax. Fare of ST bus may also get reduced.

Due to toll tax exemption. Following 12 state highways are toll exempted:

  1. Ahmedabad-Mehsana highway
  2. Vadodara-Halol highway
  3. Ahmedabad-Viramgam-Maliya highway
  4. Halol-Godhra-Shamlaji highway
  5. Rajkot-Jamnagar-Vadinar highway
  6. Himmatnagar bypass highway
  7. Kim-Mandvi highway
  8. Bhuj-Nakhtrana highway
  9. Kapadwanj-Modasa highway
  10. Deesa-Panthawada-Gundri road highway
  11. Vadodara-Chhayapuri Rail overbridge highway
