Vadnagar to have tourist attraction due to roots of Narendra Modi’s early days

Place of Vadnagar in Gujarat catchs its own significance as then a common man Narendra Modi who now is the most powerful person after becoming prime minister of India. Tour operators have identified Vadnagar city showing the places where young Narendra Modi  went to Vadnagar Prathmik Shala were he studied; the Sharmistha lake where he once reportedly caught a crocodile, the railway station were he sold tea in his school days.Visitor can opportunity to visit heritage sites and a Buddhist monastery besides having the opportunity of meeting some of Modi’s classmates.

Durng January 2015 many foreign tourists and VVIPs will be coming to Gujarat to participate in Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2015 and Pravasi Bharatiya Day celebration. A guide well versed in English will accompany foreign tourists who wish to travel on this circuit. Further, the tourists will also be provided with lunch. This one day tour will cost Rs 600 per head, as per sources of tourism department.
