Valsad: Market closed against Amarnath terror attack

Today in Valsad, Markets remained closed against a call given by Hindu organizations in protest against Amarnath terror attack. 90 to 95 % shops in the markets remained close.

Close was observed at MG Road, Shabji Market, Parlor Road and Tithal Road.

In the morning primary schools were open but later schools were also joined bandh in Valsad. Muslim organizations also responded to bandh call in the city.

In some areas, there were a mixed response. People protested and shouted slogans. Police including top officials from Azad Chowk police chowky is deployed at the site for security reasons. Police is deployed across valsad district for security reasons.

Common man feels that now government should take firms steps in dealing with terrorism. They should give tribute to the victims of Amarnath Yatra.
