Vidyadhan Scholarship Program of Sarojini Damodaran Foundation held in IIM Ahmedabad
On 6th August in Ahmedabad, The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation launched Vidyadhan Scholarship Program for Gujarat.
On the Occasion SD Shibulal, Founder & Trustee – SDF & Co-founder & Former CEO, Infosys shared details on the Mission & Mission of the Foundation ,Details of Vidyadhan Gujarat, Importance of Vidyadhan Project, Impact it would make on the sector and Future plans of the Foundation.
The foundation was launched in 1999 in Kerala. 10,000 scholarships have been given away till now.
In 2017 alone 16,000 Applications for scholarships were from 8 states. 50 to 100 students from Gujarat every year.
It is the first time entry in north India and Gujarat.

At Scholarship awards program, brilliant students from Gujarat excelled in board exams were chosen. Five top students including 3 girls and 2 boys received the awards.
Awardee girls wants to become Pilot, Doctor and Engineer.
The Vidyadhan Scholarship Program was held at Auditorium 2, KLMDC in IIM Ahmedabad.
IIM Indian Institute of Management is a world renowned management institute in Ahmedabad city.
