Yesterday night, one couple of Vijapur district committed suicide by jumping from Gandhi Bridge into Sabarmati river by tieing each other with dupatta. Today on getting information about suicide, Fire Brigade rushed to the site and recovered body out of river. Deadbodies have been sent for postmortem. The couple was identified by documents found from them as Vipul Chhanaji Thakor, age 24 and Binal Kalubhai Vaghela, age 19, resident of Mahadevpur in Vijapur.
