Voting in 1,129 Gram Panchayats peaceful in Gujarat
Today in Gujarat, Voting for Sthanik Swaraj Polls 2018 has started.
Voting for 1,129 Gram Panchayats remained peaceful. 214 Gram Panchayats go Samras way and choose their sarpanch.
Fate of 22040 candidates will be locked in EVMs Electronic Voting Machines
1,800 EVMs to be used in the Sthanik Swaraj Polls. Collectors have been given necessary instructions to make arrangements for smooth electoral process.
In Vadodara, elections for 169 Gram Panchayats is underway.
In Jamnagar, 24.34 % voting was reported till 10 AM.
In Dwarka, Gram Panchayat elections have begun, 18 towns to undergo voting.
In Botad, 26 Gram Panchayats are voting today, out of which 8 gram panchayats have gone samras.
In Jamkalyanpur, 26 Gram Panchayats, in Valsad, 10 Gram Panchayats, in Aravalli 64 Gram Panchayats, in Chhota Udepur 44 Gram Panchayats, in Banaskantha 5 Gram Panchayats, in Morbi 8 Gram Panchayats, in Bharuch 12 Gram Panchayats, in Mehsana 9 Gram Panchayats and in Ahmedabad 14 Gram Panchayats are polling today.
Voting in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana and Ahmedabad is going on peacefully.

Due to technical snag in EVMs voting was delayed by 30 minutes at polling booths.
