Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, special emphasis is being given to employment generation across the country. Inspired by his development vision, the Government of Gujarat organized a large-scale Employment Recruitment Fair at Mehsana under the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Regional Summit – 2025’, focusing on the cluster level of North Gujarat’s Mehsana, Patan, and Banaskantha districts. The event was chaired by Cabinet Minister Shri Balvantsinh Rajput.
Organized by the Department of Labour, Skill Development and Employment, in collaboration with the district administration, the main objective of this recruitment fair is to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the state and to ensure that industries get access to the skilled manpower they need.
So far, over 1,200 young individuals have registered for the fair, and many of them are being selected by various companies. Several local and national-level industries have participated, offering job opportunities across various sectors.
The Government of Gujarat continues to make consistent efforts to connect youth from training to employment through various initiatives like Skill India, Digital India, and Make in India. Such grand employment fairs are proving to be a ray of hope for the youth.
