Reception Ceremony of Newly Appointed Gujarat BJP President and Minister Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma Held in Vadodara in the Presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel
A grand felicitation ceremony was organized at Karelibaug, Vadodara, in the special presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, to welcome the newly appointed State BJP President and Minister Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma.

From the welcome point, Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma, seated on a worker’s bike, greeted BJP workers along the route and arrived at the meeting venue amidst great enthusiasm.
At the venue, BJP workers waved saffron scarves and welcomed both the Chief Minister and the State President with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and banners of “Operation Sindur.”

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel congratulated the new State President and said:
“Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has taught us how to overcome challenges as a true karyakarta (party worker).
BJP workers are those who work with the spirit of Nation First.
Whoever joins BJP is accepted as they are — and is shaped into what the Party needs.
Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, India is moving towards Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India). Each of us must contribute by choosing and promoting indigenous products.”

He further said that the Prime Minister’s mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” has made India’s governance people-centric and inclusive.
He praised Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma as a tech-savvy and dynamic leader, who understands the grassroots realities and the challenges faced by party workers.
In an energetic speech, Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma said:
“The enthusiasm of Vadodara’s BJP workers is inspiring. Riding on a worker’s bike to this event has been a humbling experience.
Like the foundation stone that supports a tall structure, our workers are the base of every successful program.
I appeal to young workers to read the book ‘Minor Hints’ written by Sir T. Madhavrao on the principles of governance, based on the life of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad.”

He remembered senior BJP leaders of Vadodara — the late Shri Rameshbhai Gupta, Shri Bhupendrabhai, Shri Krishnakantbhai Shah, and Shri Ochhalal Parikh — who worked tirelessly to strengthen the party.

“Vadodara is the city where the RSS began its first shakha (branch) in Gujarat.
Seeing the energy of Vadodara’s youth makes me want to run with them.
The BJP is not just a political party but the world’s largest movement that has taught us to live with self-respect.”

He added:
“Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has elevated the pride of 140 crore Indians across the world.
It was the people of Vadodara who gave the largest victory margin to Shri Narendra Modi in 2014, sending him to Delhi as Prime Minister.
Today, Vadodara is witnessing development in sectors like drone technology, defense manufacturing, and logistics aircraft production.
Every BJP worker moves forward through hard work — not by seeking blessings but by earning recognition through performance.”
He urged citizens to buy Swadeshi (Indian-made) products during Diwali:
“If 140 crore Indians take even one small step toward buying local products, India will move 140 crore steps ahead — and no force can stop us. Our Prime Minister will never let India’s head bow down.”
The event was attended by State Vice President and Vadodara City In-Charge Shri Gordhanbhai Zadafiya, City BJP President Dr. Jayprakash Soni, District President Shri Rasikbhai, District In-Charge Shri Rajeshbhai, Mayor Smt. Pinkyben, MLAs, MPs, senior office bearers of the State and Vadodara District BJP, industrialists, social leaders, and saints.
