He emphasized that misleading messages spread through platforms like WhatsApp and social media are creating unnecessary fear among the public. Citizens have been urged to rely only on official updates and avoid contributing to panic buying.
The minister assured that both the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India are actively monitoring fuel stocks and supply on a daily basis.
Authorities have taken all necessary steps to ensure that petrol and diesel are readily available across the state without disruption.
Officials clarified that there is no shortage of fuel at any petrol pumps in the state. People are requested not to believe unverified claims or create unnecessary crowding at fuel stations.
Such panic-driven actions can lead to temporary disruptions, even when supplies are sufficient.
The government has urged citizens to remain calm and act responsibly. Trusting official communication and avoiding the spread of rumours will help maintain smooth supply and prevent unnecessary inconvenience.
