Ahmedabad BJP Releases Manifesto for Local Body Elections 2026

Ahmedabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming Gujarat Local Body Elections 2026 in Ahmedabad.

The manifesto was formally released by Gujarat Minister Rushikesh Patel along with BJP leader Prerak Shah, in the presence of party workers and local representatives. Former Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain was also present at the event.

The document outlines the party’s vision for urban development in Ahmedabad, focusing on infrastructure expansion, improved civic amenities, digital governance, and citizen-centric services. Key areas highlighted include strengthening public transport, enhancing sanitation systems, promoting sustainable development, and boosting local economic growth.

Speaking at the event, the leaders emphasised the BJP’s commitment to continued development and efficient governance in the city. They stated that the manifesto reflects the aspirations of Ahmedabad’s citizens and aims to build on the progress made in recent years.

Party officials also expressed confidence that the BJP will receive strong public support in the upcoming elections, citing its track record in governance and development initiatives.
