Gandhinagar, Gujarat: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the newly constructed cable-stayed flyover bridge at Bhat Crossroads on the Gandhinagar–Ahmedabad Airport road, marking a significant milestone in the state’s urban infrastructure development.

The 1.48-kilometre-long flyover has been jointly developed by the Gujarat Government’s Roads and Buildings Department and the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) at an estimated cost of ₹175 crore.
The bridge is the first cable-stayed flyover in an urban area of Gujarat and is expected to significantly improve traffic flow between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad Airport, reducing congestion and enhancing travel convenience for commuters.
The project reflects the state’s continued focus on modern, high-quality infrastructure to support rapid urban growth, strengthen regional connectivity, and provide safer and more efficient transportation for residents and visitors alike.
