Ahmedabad: Panic spread across parts of Ahmedabad after bomb threat emails were reportedly received by three schools—Zydus School in Vejalpur, Udgam School in Thaltej, and DPS Bopal.
Following receipt of the threatening emails, the school authorities immediately informed the Police Control Room. Local police, the Ahmedabad Fire Brigade and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) were alerted and rushed to the respective locations.
As a precautionary measure, the schools were evacuated and extensive security checks were initiated. Police and bomb squad personnel are conducting searches of the premises as part of the security response.
The incident has triggered heightened security measures across the affected school campuses.
