Ahmedabad ,25th May, 2026: Umiya Mataji Sansthan, Sola has announced the construction and development of a magnificent Umiya Mataji Temple, modern Boys and Girls Hostel building and a well-equipped Umiya Party Plot for the betterment and convenience of the society. On this occasion, the President of the organization, Shri Pramukh Babubhai J Patel (BJP), Vice President Rameshbhai Dudhwala, Minister of the organization Jayatibhai Patel, Joint Secretary Mukeshbhai Badu, Trustee C.K. Patel, Chairman of Sola Campus P.C. Patel, Vice Chairman Pravin Patel (Ghatlodia), Coordinator Suresh Patel, Treasurer Hasmukh Patel, Organization President Pravinbhai, Chairman of the Construction Committee I.C. Patel were present.
President of Umiya Mata Sanstha Shri Babubhai J. Patel said on this occasion that the Umiya Mataji temple taking shape at Sola Campus will be a wonderful example of architectural art. This magnificent temple is being completely built in Nagar style. The main feature of this magnificent temple is that no iron of any kind will be used in the construction of the temple. Instead, approximately 2 lakh cubic feet of pink stone from Bansipahadpur is being used. The length of the temple will be approximately 255 feet, width 160 feet and height 132 feet. While there will be a total of 92 attractive pillars in the temple and the sanctum will be so large that 500 devotees will be able to have darshan at a time. As part of the facilities of the elderly and the disabled, 2 lifts have been arranged in the temple.
On this occasion, Trustee of Umiya Mata Sanstha Shri C.K Patel said that for the bright future of the students, the construction of a modern Boys and Girls Hostel building with 2 basements + ground floor + 13 floors is nearing completion. The total construction area is 4,33,914 sq. ft. (Boys Hostel: 2,16,807 sq. ft. and Girls Hostel: 2,19,807 sq. ft.). While a total of 400 rooms (Girls: 208, Boys: 192) will accommodate 1600 students (932 girls and 768 boys). Apart from this, Dining and Kitchen: 2 modern kitchens and separate dining halls with a capacity of 1600 students have been arranged in this hostel. For the purpose of academic and physical development, 3 common e-libraries (2 for girls and 1 for boys) and 2 modern gyms (separate areas) have been built for the students. In addition, Umiya Career Development Council (UCDC) will be functioning for the preparation of UPSC and GPSC.
Apart from this, other hi-tech facilities include a total of 8 high-speed lifts (4 in each block), laundry, housekeeping, furnished rooms, 24-hour hot water, mineral water, guest waiting area and a spacious basement parking (for 200 cars and 100 scooters).
