Ahmedabad: 2 arrested from Kankaria railway yard with Charas worth Rs 11.25 lakhs

In Ahmedabad, at Kankaria railway yard , 2 persons apprehended with Charas (Hashish) drugs weighing 9 kg, worth Rs 11.25 lakhs

On 4th May 2018 at about 18.00 hrs, police constable Sanjay Yadav along with Head constable Pankaj Parmar and head constable Paresh Doriya arrested 2 persons with 2 bags while they deboarded from Train no 15045 in Kankaria Railway yard.

On checking their bags, police recovered 9 packets of suspicious material like Charas. Two persons with their bags were brought to the KKF out post. Self interrogated accused and called NCB officers for further investigation. Seized material was tested and weighted by NCB and found to be 9 Kg Charas.

After necessary formalities both accused with 9 Kg Charas (worth Rs 11.25 lakhs) were handed over to NCB for further legal action and investigation.
