Ahmedabad five fire incidents reported; Brigade Call in Vatva GIDC Phase 4

In the present heat wave across Gujarat, incidents of fire are on rise. Ahmedabad reported 5 separate fire incidents in different areas of the city on Friday. Fire fighters were running in the city. Massive fire was reported in slums of Chandola and Vatva, Venus Atlantis in Prahladnagar, a chemical factory in Vatva GIDC Phase-4, and a car in Bapunagar area.

A massive fire broke out at Jayshree Chemical Industries in Vatva GIDC Phase-4 after a chemical drum reportedly blasted. The Brigade Call was declared in Vatva fire incident. The flames spread quickly, affecting 4 to 5 nearby factories. Four fire brigade vehicles rushed to the site, and efforts were made to extinguish the fire.
