Today morning Ahmedabad Police Commissioner Ashish Bhatia with his team reviewed the implementation of lockdown in containment zones, mainly in eastern parts of the city.
In eastern part of Ahmedabad, permission to open shops for essential goods, vegetables, milk and medicine is given with lockdown 4 guidelines issued by Gujarat government in conjunction with central guidelines.
Other shops are permitted to open in non containment zones clarified Commissioner Bhatia to media.
Ahmedabad is in red zone with more than 9000 Covid-19 cases in the city.
