Manek Burj , the monument believed to be the foundation bastion of Ahmedabad city.
On 609th Today the historic Manek Burj was worshipped by applying tilak by Ahmedabad Mayor Bijal Patel and Municipal Councillors, AMC officials and former Ahmedabad Mayor.
Floral tribute was given by Ahmedabad Mayor to brave freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and worship done at Samadhi sthal.
On this day Bijal Patel appeals people to keep the city clean and green.
