Alpesh Thakor and Jignesh Mewani invited by Rahul Gandhi to Delhi
Today OBC leader Alpesh Thakor and Dalit leader Jignesh Mewani has been invited to Delhi by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for coalliation in wake of upcoming Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017. Gujarat Congress President Bharatsinh Solanki and Gujarat Congress Incharge Ashok Gehlot would also attend the meeting with Congress high command and other leaders from Gujarat.
During a press meet in Ahmedabad at GPCC Bharatsinh Solanki said that now people have recognised their. Praising Alpesh Thakor he said that OBC leader is good job on prohibition, education and unemployment in the state. Hardik Patel patidar has placed need for quota in the state. We have invited both of them to have ties with Congress. We have had delibrations over their demands. Even, Jignesh Mewani Dalit leader could also contest on Congress seat and further our Vijay Yatra seat added Bharatsinh Solanki.
We are in conversation with AAP Aam Aadmi Party leaders, very soon they will formally join Congress party. Even, our talks with NCP leaders is under way said Bharatsinh. We look forward to NavSarjan Gujarat and Vijay Yatra in the state said Gujarat Congress president.
Gujarat Congress had invited youth leaders from Gujarat to form allies. Alpesh Thakor was protesting against BJP Bharatiya Janta Party government over various issues. Congress provided assurance over resolution to the issues raised by Alpesh. BJP also attempted to have ties with Alpesh.
Meeting between Rahul Gandhi and Alpesh is said to crucial for Gujarat Elections. Fruitful outcome will be endorsed by Congress and formal announcement of Alpesh joining Congress would be made during Rahul Gandhi’s next meeting to Gujarat. Jignesh Mewani was proactive after Dalit attocities in Una and ties with Jignesh can change political equations in Gujarat.
