AAP to contest on 11 seats in Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017

In Ahmedabad, Gujarat election in-charge Gopal Rai of AAP Aam Aadmi Party released its list of 11 candidates for  Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 for 182 seats including Rajkot (West). AAP clarified that they would not contest from all seats. Rajkot (West) is currently represented by Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani. AAP will nominate businessman Rajesh Bhut in Rajkot.

Delhi minister and AAP Gujarat that the names were finalised at a meeting of the party’s political affairs committee in Delhi.

The election schedule is likely by year end.

List of 11 candidates on  constituency-wise candidates announced by the AAP are as follows:
Anil Verma (Bapunagar),
Ramesh Patel (Unjha),
Rajesh Bhut (Rajkot (West)),
JJ Mewada (Danilimda),
Nimeesha Khunt (Gondal),
M D Manajaria (Lathi),
Arjun Rathwa (Chhota Udepur),
Rajendra Patel (Padra),
Hanif Jamadar (Karjan),
Rajiv Pandey (Pardi) and
Ram Dhaduk (Kamrej).
AAP is emerging one more option for voters in addition to BJP, Congress, Jan Vikalp and AAP.
