Ahmedabad, 05th March, 2025: The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the apex body for management in India with over 37,000 members through 68 Local Management Associations affiliated to it. AIMA was established in 1957 and is a not for profit organisation, working closely with industry, Government, academia and students, to further the cause of the management profession in India. AIMA makes a salutary contribution to management learning and practice in the country by offering various services in the areas of testing, distance education, skill development & training, events & conferences, research, publications, executive education and management development programmes.
Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) will host AIMA’s Regional Management Conclave on the theme “Leadership and Management – Strategies to Sustain, Scale, Succeed” on Friday, 07 March, 2025 from 08:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at AMA Ahmedabad. AMA believes that effective leadership and management are crucial in navigating the complexities of the modern business world. Leadership and management strategies that focus on sustainability and scalability are essential for driving growth and success. By adopting the right strategies, leaders can build resilient organizations that thrive in today’s competitive landscape. Strong leadership and management practices are key to achieving long-term sustainability and scalability.
Inauguration of the Regional Management Conclave
Honourable Minister of State Mr. Jagdish Vishwakarma, Government of Gujarat (Salt Industries, Printing and Stationary (All Independent Charge), Micro, Small and Medium Industries, Cottage, Khadi and Rural Industries, Civil Aviation) and Honourable Mayor of Ahmedabad City Smt. Pratibhaben Jain will inaugurate the conclave and Dr. Savan Godiawala (President, Ahmedabad Management Association), Ms. Rekha Sethi (Director General, All India Management Association), Mr. Rajiv Gandhi (Vice President, Ahmedabad Management Association) will join the inauguration ceremony.
Plenary Sessions
· Mr. Sanjay Kirloskar (Chairman and Managing Director, Kirloskar Brothers Limited) will address on “Implementing Sustainability Initiatives.”
· Ms. Sundari Nanda (Former IPS Officer and Special Secretary, Internal Security, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India) will address on “Fostering Diversity and Inclusion.”
· Mr. Richard Rekhy (Vice Chair, Grant Thornton India) will address on “Shaping India’s Future – Role of Leadership.”
· Mr. Nishant Behl (Founder, Expand My Business – EMB Global); Mr. Abhishek Desai (Founder, CricHeroes, Co-Founder, Digicorpand; Mr. Yash Shah (Founder, The Address) and Dr. Rajat Moona (Director, IIT Gandhinagar) will address on “Embracing Change in the Digital Age.”
Mr. Mohal Sarabhai (Honorary Secretary of AMA), Ms. Gopi Trivedi (Honorary Joint Secretary of AMA), and Mr. Yatindra Sharma (Past President, AMA) will chair different sessions. Mr. Unmesh Dixit (Executive Director, Ahmedabad Management Association) said that “The Regional Management Conclave being organised at Ahmedabad is an initiative of AMA and it will benefit the local management fraternity and the entire Western region. The conclave will allow the local entrepreneurs and executives to interact with distinguished business leaders and management experts and discuss the emerging management challenges and opportunities”
