On British news channel claiming of locating the person who operates “most followed” pro-Islamic State Twitter handle to Bengaluru, the city police today arrested a youth in connection as per reports.
The youth who allegedly operated the @ShamiWitness handle was arrested under sections for Unlawful Activities Act and Waging War Against the Country Act.
The person, Mehdi Mehboob Biswas, identified, will be interrogated by intelligence agencies NIA, IB and RAW.
