Bombay High Court refuses to stay concert of British rock band Coldplay

On Thursday Bombay High Court  directed Maharashtra government to get an undertaking from organisers of Global Citizens India Festival to pay entertainment tax under provisions of the Bombay Entertainment Duty Act. The Bombay High Court refuses to stay concert of British rock band Coldplay scheduled today in Mumbai. The organisers have obtained the Mumbai fire department’s permission.

On the MMRDA grounds at BKC set is all set for the inaugural Global Citizen India Festival. It will bring together a galaxy of Indian as well as international celebrities to perform , the highlight being Coldplay.
