Congress brings No Confidence Motion against Gujarat Assembly Speaker

Today in Gandhinagar, Congress MLA Shailesh Parmar brings No Confidence Motion against Gujarat Assembly Speaker.
Shailesh Parmar has a support of 40 Congress MLAs in filing No Confidence Motion against Speaker Rajendra Trivedi.
Government tried to avert the situation of No Confidence Motion by opposition and work out for an amicable solution externally.
No Confidence Motion in the Assembly is an attack on dignity of the post of Speaker. Also, appointment of Assembly Speaker is done with consent of both the parties.
Assembly Session will end on 28th March, before which a discussion on No Confidence Motion has to take place between government and opposition.
There is a time limit of 7 days for negotiations between two parties about Assembly Speaker.
Will Congress stick to revoking suspension of 3 Congress MLAs and negotiate in the matter.
