Countdown for Oath Ceremony of Gujarat government starts
In Gujarat BJP Bharatiya Janta Party starts preparations for swearing-in ceremony after having gained 99 seats out of 182 seats.
Today Gujarat Chief Secretary JN Singh visited at 3 places, where possibly swearing-in function of new Gujarat government could be held.
Secretary Singh that in 2012, swearing-in ceremony of Gujarat government was held at Sardar Patel Stadium as the stadium had a crowd to accommodate 50,000 to 60,000 crowd and good access to road. At the stadium, there was a provision to keep huge LED monitors for public viewing from outside the stadium.
Also, as a second and third venue, sites of Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad and Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar where oath ceremony of Rupani government had been visited by CS Gujarat.
Singh finds Sabarmati Riverfront as a probable place to hold oath ceremony. About readiness to conduct the state event, it can be done within 2-3 days of notice added chief secretary.
Today visits to 3 site was as a part of advance planning for Gujarat government oath ceremony.
