In Arabian sea deep depression is active and it may hit Gujarat coast, amid outbreak of Covid-19 in India. Cyclone Nisarga may head towards Saurashtra and Kutch. District administration of Kutch has been alerted. Between 4th to 5th June , Cyclone is likely to hit Okha, Dwarka and Morbi finally to Kutch. There is a forecast that Cyclone will divert towards Oman.
In last 4 days Deep depression in Arabian sea now gives different predictions of Cyclone being hit Gujarat coast. District administration is alert to manage crisis of fishermen from coastal area was conveyed by Superintendent of Kutch today.
10 NDRF teams have been deployed in Gujarat to meet crisis due to Cyclone. Wind speed will be around 110 to 120 kms per hour said Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Next 48 to 72 hours very crucial in coastal area.Fishermen advised not to venture in high sea.
NDRF team will reach by evening.
Vijay Rupani has called emergency meeting with state administration to check on disaster management in state.
