Ahmedabad, 26th November 2025:Daulatbhai Trivedi Law College, part of the Navgujarat group of colleges, celebrated Constitution Day, marking the anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949. The celebration was organized under the stewardship of faculty coordinators Dr. Lataben Menat and Dr. Rinku Darji.

The celebration began with Dr. Ankit Kumar Rami, Principal,Daulatbhai Trivedi Law College, lighting the ceremonial lamp. In his keynote address, Dr. Rami emphasized the pivotal role of the Constitution as the bedrock of Indian democracy. Addressing the future legal professionals, he urged them to look beyond the academic study of law and imbibe the constitutional morality necessary for nation-building. “The Constitution is not merely a legal document, but a vehicle of life, and its spirit is always the spirit of the age,” said Dr. Rami. He encouraged students to uphold the values of justice, liberty, and equality in their professional careers.

A key highlight of the event was the collective reading of the Preamble, where the entire gathering pledged to abide by the principles enshrined in the Constitution, followed by discussions on the Fundamental Duties of citizens, a topic of increasing relevance in contemporary discourse. The solemn function concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rinku Darji, acknowledgingthe efforts of the staff and the enthusiastic participation of the students in making the event a success.
