Model-turned-actress Diana Penty had made a promising debut opposite Saif Ali Khan in ‘Cocktail’ (2012). ‘Cocktail’ actress Diana Penty has been missing in action for almost two years now after the release of her debut film. However, surprising everyone in the industry, the actress did not take up any other projects after that. After a gap of almost 3 years, she has finally signed her second film.
According to a sources, Diana has signed her second film titled ‘Dolly Lahore Mein’, opposite Abhay Deol. The film is reportedly being produced by Aanand Rai and will be directed by Mudassar Aziz. A source close to the film was quoted as saying, “After the release of Cocktail in 2012, the entire industry was waiting to sign Diana. However she kept on refusing films. In the midst there were also rumours that she was all set to tie the knot with her boyfriend who happens to be a diamond merchant and she was seen hanging around with him at various social events as well. However that aside, Diana has finally gone ahead and signed a film and it is expected to go on the floors in the next couple of months.”
