England versus India Test Series, second Test: India leads with 60 runs, England scores 319 in first innings

In a second test match between England and India, on third day.

England were 319 all out in first innings with a lead of 24 runs. Joe Root took excellent catch off Ben Stokes ball to dismiss Shikhar Dhawan. Matt Prior falls for 23, caught by Dhawan off bowling of Shami. Liam Plunkett and James Anderson push England beyond India’s total.

After Over 31, India were Score 84/1, with Vijay on 21 and  Pujara on 25. A 44-run partnership between Vijay and Pujara from 17 overs have put India in a secure position, at least for now. India now lead England by 60 runs with nine wickets in hand.
