Former ISRO Chairman Dr. K. Kasturirangan passes away at 84 in Bengaluru

Former Chairman, ISRO and Secretary, Department of Space Dr. K. Kasturirangan, passes away at 84 in Bengaluru. He was one of the chief architects of India’s Space Programme. A visionary scientist, he led the development of the IRS and INSAT satellite systems and steered the PSLV to operational success. His legacy as a leader, scientist and mentor, will continue to inspire generations. His mortal remains will be kept at Raman Research Institute (RRI), Bangalore for paying last respects on April 27th, from 1000 to 1200 hrs .
