On Ahmedabad – Vadodara expressway 10 people, including a child, were killed in a car accident when car dashed into a truck on Wednesday. Among victims all the occupants of the car, a White colored Maruti Suzuki Ertiga car with RTO Number GJ 27 EC 2578, and were going to Ahmedabad from Vadodara.Eight people were reportedly died on the spot, two others died while being taken to hospital. Maharashtra based truck was parked on the extreme left lane of the expressway due to a mechanical fault and the car dashed into it from the rear side, the news media reported Kheda Police rushed to the site.
He said all the ten occupants of the car, including the driver and a five-year-old child, died in the road accident, that took place near Nadiad of Kheda district. Truck was on its route to Jammu from Pune in Maharashtra. As per police car passengers hailed from different cities of Gujarat, including Vadodara, Nadiad, and Ahmedabad. Only four victims were identified so far.
