In a big success, Gujarat ATS Anti Terror Squad arrested Dawood’s close aide after 24 years. ATS has deported gangster Majid Kutty of Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim from Jharkhand. The accused had been absconding for the last 24 years from security agencies. He is considered to be very close and confident to Dawood. Gujarat ATS had earlier arrested Babu Solanki, who is believed to be Dawood Ibrahim’s right hand man.
RDX was obtained from Mehsana of Gujarat in 1996, According to information received, four kilograms of RDX, 115 pistols, more than 750 cartridges and 10 detonators were found during a raid on Bombay Guest House near Dudhsagar Dairy in Mehsana on February 23, 1996. The pistols and bullets found during the raid were made in Pakistan.
Accused Was hiding in Malaysia for 24 years, This consignment of arms was sent to India from the Barmer border of Rajasthan, Which was to be sent to Mumbai and Ahmedabad later. After this raid, Majid Kutty was going to Malaysia. He has been in Malaysia for the last 24 years. Gujarat ATS got a tip that Majid was coming to India and a watch was set on him and finally he was arrested after 2 decades.
According to ATS officials, Kutty will undergo a Covid-19 test before interogation.
