Today Gujarat Chief Minister has decided and instructed to withdraw cases against agitating Patidar members except 14 Patidar members. 14 Patidar members have been booked under serious offenses of Seition , they will have to get have to get bail from Gujarat High Court only. In an official statement Gujarat Minister that FIR of cases on cases against Patidars will be scrutinized. In 74 cases against Patidars in 18 districts which may be written in which 382 Patidars were released. FIR of cases against Patidars will be reviewed. 1736 Patidars have got bail out of 1750 Patidars that were arrested.
Gujarat Congress President said that there was a peaceful demostartion by a community against Gujarat government demanding reservation but due to unfortunate incident of August 25 where in Police atrocities took place and many innocent Patidars were arrested thereafter. 10 Patidars lost their life. Congress had cleared its stand on reservation in support of them.
We demanded to withdraw cases against innocent people, a program of Rally from Gandhi Ashram to Collector on Jan 5 was announced by Gujarat Congress. Gujarat Congress criticized Gujarat government’s behavior.
