Gujarat Congress has launched a sharp attack on the government over the ongoing controversy surrounding examination paper leaks and alleged police action against protesting students.
In a strongly worded statement, the party accused the government of becoming “arrogant in the intoxication of power” and alleged that force was being used against young people raising their voices for justice.

“Neither will we fear repression, nor bow before batons,” Gujarat Congress declared, demanding strict action against those responsible for the paper leak scam.
The party said that the alleged irregularities have damaged the future of millions of students and demanded that the accused be sent to jail. It also called for the immediate resignation of the Education Minister, holding the government accountable for the crisis facing students.

Gujarat Congress further said it would continue its struggle “until the last moment” for the rights, dignity and future of every student in the state.
The controversy comes amid growing political and student anger over examination irregularities and alleged paper leaks. Opposition parties have also raised objections to police action against youth protesters, while the government has rejected allegations of political misuse of the issue.
The Congress message was summed up in its slogan:
“STUDENTS DESERVE JUSTICE, NOT VIOLENCE.”
“ન દમનથી ડરીશું નહીં, ન લાઠીઓ સામે ઝૂકીશું.”
