Gujarat Congress demonstrations for health facilities in Corona crisis

AHMEDABAD: A silent demonstration tribute program was organized by Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee in the metros of Gujarat  including Ahmedabad city to the people who died in Corona. Along with this, there were demonstrations on health issues including Remdesivir, oxygen and bed.

At Sardar Bagh in Ahmedabad city, a two-minute silence demonstration was organized under the leadership of Pradesh Congress President Amit Chavda to pay homage to the victims of Coronavirus epidemic. Congress workers staged a  protest with banners against state government.

Police have detained activists including Congress MLAs Imran Khedwala , Gyasuddin Sheikh, including state Congress president Amit Chavda, and city Congress in-charge president Chetan Rawal.

Gujarat Pradesh Congress President Amit Chavda accused Gujarat government of leaving the people of Gujarat on God’s mercy in Coronavirus epidemic. The state hospital is short of oxygen and a ventilator. The people of Gujarat have been forced to die due to lack of health facilities.

The BJP state president is allowed to inaugurate and hold political talks. BJP people in Gujarat protests about West Bengal incident. We have followed Corona guidelines and staged protest with limited people. We have realised about difficulties people are facing in the crisis situation.

Chavda said BJP people do programs,  and Congress people just talk,  police detain them, Commenting on Corona’s condition, Congress Gujarat president Amit Chavda said, “More than 7,000 deaths have been reported in the last 13 months due to mismanagement by the government.

The Congress family pays tribute to those who died in Corona. In 13 months government has  forced to kill people by doing nothing. Government planning is only on paper.

We are demanding oxygen, ventilators and staff on behalf of  people. If the government does not wake up, even worst days will come. Congress workers were detained by the police outside  Collector office.
