Gujarat Education Board Declares Class 12 Results 2026; Strong Performance Across Streams

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has officially declared the Class 12 results for Science and General streams along with GUJCET 2026.

State Education Minister Pradyuman Vaja announced the results, highlighting overall strong performance by students across Gujarat.

Science Stream Performance

A total of 1,11,270 students registered for the Science stream, while 1,18,256 students appeared for the examination across 156 centers.

  • Overall result: 84.33%
  • Boys pass percentage: 84.04%
  • Girls pass percentage: 84.62%

District-wise performance:

  • Highest: Morbi district – 94.84%
  • Lowest: Dahod district – 57.44%

Top-performing center: Kumbhariya recorded an impressive 98.62% result.
A total of 209 schools achieved 100% results in the Science stream.

General Stream Performance

In the General stream, 4,35,102 students appeared for the exams.

  • Overall result: 92.71%
  • Boys pass percentage: 90.10%
  • Girls pass percentage: 95.41%
  • Divyang (specially-abled) candidates: 194 appeared for the exams.
  • Authorities extended encouragement to students who could not pass, urging them to work hard and succeed in upcoming attempts.

The results reflect consistent improvement in academic performance, with girls outperforming boys in both streams and several districts showing remarkable progress.
