Today minister Nitin Patel made announcement on Gujarat government’s new guideline on agricultural land for immediate heir in family tree. Government has announced stamp duty exemption on land distribution, heirship and land from ancestors. The decision has been taken to give benefit in case of agricuture land to immediate heirs. The benefit can encashed with just payment of Rs 100 stamp duty in both the cases of dead or alive land owner. No other stamp duty will be levied.
