Gujarat Governor to invite majority party to form government

Today team of ECI Election Commission of India will visit Gujarat and handover list of winning candidates in Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 to Gujarat governor.

Virendra Kumar Principal Secretary of ECI will handover a list of 182 winner candidates of Gujarat Assembly Elections.

Gujarat governor Om Prakash Kohli will in turn invite largest party to form the government.

13th Legislative Assembly was dissolved by Gujarat Governor O P Kohli. Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and Deputy CM Nitin Patel to tender resignations to governor on Thursday.

Kohli will give consent to continue as a care taker CM untill new ministries are formed. CM Vijay Rupani continue as in-charge Chief Minister till the oath-taking by the new Cabinet is completed.
