The trailer of “O! Tareee”, a much- awaited Gujarati film, was released today by the cast and crew in a glittering ceremony in Ahmedabad. Slated to hit the screens on November 11, the action-thriller packed sequences sneaked a peek into the world of five friends who find themselves in the midst of a murder, details their travails and their journey together beating all odds.
The film is directed by city-based director Tapan Vyas who promises to be the harbinger of a new era in Gujarati cinema. The name of the film has been carefully crafted to hit the senses instantly and concisely captures the essence of life and the surprises it pops.
O! Taareee balances truth and illusion, dreams and facts and upholds strong stilts of cinematography to weave magic in movie-making.
“We wanted to tap a genre which has never been explored in Gujarati cinema. Our viewers are maturing and their tastes have refined. An ensemble cast has been brilliantly put together, assuring to gift nouveau experiences to movie goers. The initial response to the film posters and teasers has been overwhelming,” said director Tapan Vyas, who has been a successful cinematographer in multiple films.
The film is the first production of Mark Entertainment and serves as the debut platform in the Gujarati film industry for Revanta Sarabhai, an internationally acclaimed theater artist and dancer.
O! Taareee will be the second film for Janki Bodiwala after ‘Chello Divas’ and will see her teaming up with Riddhi Jain, Pratik Rathod and Dhaivat Mehta in pivotal roles. Power performances are in store from Jayesh More in the role of a police inspector.
