Fuletra village of Mehsana district in Gujarat has become unreachable due to water logging. After 36 hours of continuous rains Fuletra village of Kadi district in Gujarat was cut off from neighbouring villages. Fuletra has a density of 5000 people. Some 700 people have been moved to safer places. 500 people from Pirozpur of Mehsana and 200 persons from Borisna , Meda Adarjan have been shifted. Causeway at Sapwada has been closed due to water logging. Mehasana Highway was closed to water logging at Chhatral and traffic was diverted to Gozaria-Gandhinagar.

Today in Ahmedabad, Mayor Gautambhai Shah conducted a Press meet with Mayor of Valladolid, Spain and its delegation. Municipal Commissioner, Councillors and official were present during the meeting in a high level meeting. In year 2008, there was agreement made under Sister City project with Spain on cultural, heritage and architectural development and tourism promotion.
