Today, Petrol prices have been slashed by Rs. 1.09 per litre and diesel prices have been increased by 50 paise per litre at Delhi, inclding VAT. New rates will be effective from tonight. Other states will have change in prices.
As per Indian Oil, effect of Rupee versus Dollar has shown reduction in petrol price. The combined impact of the two factors warrants a decrease in RSP(retail selling price) of MS (motor spirit) by Rs. 1.09/ litre at Delhi (inclusive of VAT) with corresponding decrease in other states.”
