Heavy rain forecast for next 5 days in Gujarat by IMD

Monsoon will re-arrive in Gujarat, forecast of heavy rain has been made for next 5 days. Rains will arrive again in Gujarat at end of Shravan month. According to IMD India Meteorological Department, rain may be seen in many districts in the next 5 days. Heavy rain lashed in month of July and in beginning of August, there was normal to moderate amount of rainfall at some places. Now after a long break, rainy conditions can prevail in the state from Saturday. There will be heavy rainfall in the state during 16th to 22nd September. Rain can arrive in Kutch, Saurashtra, Valsad, Navsari, Dang Tapi, Dahod, Panchmahal and Ahmedabad.

IMD has predicted that there will be heavy rain especially in South Gujarat. At present, changes in weather have been seen in many areas of the state. Monsoon will again visit the state at the end of the monsoon season. According to weather agency well-marked low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal has been intesified by becoming active and it is moving towards Central India,  districts of South Gujarat may see heavy to very heavy rain on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Light to moderate rain may occur in other parts of the state. Whereas rain with thunder has been predicted in Ahmedabad on Friday evening or night.

IMD  has predicted that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the areas of Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Tapi, Dang districts. Whereas heavy rains may lash in some areas of Saurashtra, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Panchmahal, Anand, Vadodara, Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Narmada districts. There is a possibility of moderate rain in the districts of Uttar Gujarat, Central Gujarat and East Gujarat.
