About Round Table India & Ladies Circle India
Round Table India (RT India) is a social club which works towards servicing the community. RT India is part of an International Organization constituting young members, within the Age bracket of 18 – 40 years. Present in 70+ countries worldwide, Round Table has been present in India since 1957. RT India has a pan India presence with around 320+ tables and more opening in 136 cities spread across 21 states of India with 4500+ members and more than 20K alumni strength. Round Table India serves the society through its various initiatives:
• Freedom Through Education (FTE): In 1997, RT India adopted FTE as its long-term project. Under this project, RT India has built 7890+ classrooms, spending over Rs.380+ Crores, supporting 8.67 million kids get better education.
• Healthcare Enhancement for Active Living (HEAL): This program was adopted in 2020 to improve healthcare facilities and infrastructure for better healthcare for the needy. • Community services: We also conduct activities like limb donations, blood donation camps, donations to old age homes and orphanages, plantation drives, eye checkup camps, sanitary pad donations, etc. Ladies Circle India is the ladies wing of Round Table India which is also involved in similar activities for the development of the society and country.
Laughter for Literacy 2
We have organized this event in association with Qutone to raise funds for an ongoing project of 4 classrooms at Chanakya Primary School, Ghatlodia which is expected to be completed and inaugurated in the month of May 2023, so that the school can admit another 250+ students in next academic year. We have already made 4 classrooms in this school in 2018 and a Smart Classroom – Computer Lab in Jan 2023.
Two Stand Up artists have been called from Delhi Mr Appurv Gupta & Mr Ravi Gupta, with assistance of our supporters and donors we expect to raise the deficit for this project, the show will be held on 22nd April, 8 pm at Pandit Deen Dayal Auditorium. Appurv & Ravi are stars in the world of stand-up comedy, they are known for their quick wit and hilarious observations. With appearance in top comedy clubs around the country they are sure to make the crowd split into laughter.
