The Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), in collaboration with the National Council for Climate Change, Sustainable Development and Public Leadership (NCCSD) and Sri Seetha Rama Seva Sadan (SRSS), launched the latest two volumes, “Gurubodh 4 & 5: Fragrance of Love & Light,” authored by Guruji Shri G Narayana, an inspirational mentor, author, and voluntary contributor.

He mentors several chief executives, executives, lecturers, students, corporations, management institutions, universities, colleges, schools, and social, spiritual, and voluntary organizations.
Gurubodh represents the culmination of a vast literary journey, distilling profound insights from Guruji’s extensive corpus of 737 books, articles, poetry, presentations, and lectures into an accessible, alphabetically organized format, about leadership, management, work ethics, all spiritualities of world, Vedas, Upanishads, Gita Darshan, Dharma, transformation and transcendence, and other thought systems.
Smt. M.V. Padma, the dedicated compiler of Gurubodh Volumes 4 & 5, offered a profound interpretation of the series’ name: “Gurubodh is a beautiful confluence of two powerful concepts: ‘Guru’ and ‘Bodha,’ which can be interpreted as ‘knowledge or realization attained by understanding and experiencing the Ultimate, through the Guru’s teachings, guidance, and his realizations.'”
Shri P. K. Laheri, IAS, Former Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat; Managing Trustee, Sadvichar Parivar, was the Chief Guest. Dr. Bhagyesh Jha, former IAS officer and Chairman of Gujarat Sahitya Academy; Mr. Sushil Handa, Chairman of Fifth Veda Enterprises and former MD of Claris Life Sciences; Dr. Savan Godiawala, President of AMA; Dr. Kirit Shelat, IAS (Retired), Executive Chairman of NCCSD; Shri KVLN Haribabu, President of SRSS; and Shri Deevyesh Radia, Past President of AMA, joined the launch ceremony.
Shri P. K. Laheri, IAS, stated that the launch of “Gurubodh Volumes 4 and 5: Fragrance of Love & Light” on June 5th coincides with World Environment Day. This is very significant because these books are based on the ecosystem – focused on coexistence, encompassing principles and practices involving humans, animals, trees, and the wider environment, and proposing solutions for addressing climate change challenges.
Dr. Bhagyesh Jha, esteemed former IAS officer and Chairman of Gujarat Sahitya Academy, delivered an address on this occasion, recalling his connection with Guruji. He provided a concise overview of Gurubodh, emphasizing the profound transformation it is fostering. Dr. Jha described Guruji as a distinctive ‘Rishi’ whose work centers on applied philosophy.”
Mr. Sushil Handa, Chairman of Fifth Veda Enterprises and former MD of Claris Life Sciences, said that these volumes contain 149 gems covering all aspects of daily life and challenges, serving as a comprehensive handbook of life and a beacon of wisdom for the reader.
Dr. Savan Godiawala, President of AMA, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the revered Guruji, G. Narayana, on this incredible milestone. He stated that “these pearls of wisdom will enrich and transform the lives of countless readers. Every one of the numerous discourses of Guruji and several of his authored books that I have been lucky to attend and read feels like receiving his blessing through words of wisdom, which relate to a layman as much as a yogi.”
Dr. Kirit Shelat, Executive Chairman of NCCSD, said that “readers will find messages spanning from engaging stories of Akbar & Birbal that impart moral lessons, to timeless principles like the Ten Commandments, sophisticated insights into Negotiating Skills, strategic wisdom drawn from Kautilya’s Strategic Leadership, and the profound spiritual depths of the Upanishads, alongside many other diverse topics. This eclectic mix ensures that readers of every age, background, and intellectual inclination will discover something of profound value and inspiration.”
Mr. Deevyesh Radia said that “The release of Gurubodh Volumes 1 & 2 at AMA in 2006 was a milestone – a collection of 250 insightful articles drawn from Guruji’s books, workshops, and talks. This was followed by Gurubodh 3 in 2014. A decade later, we now have Gurubodh Volumes 4 & 5, completing what can truly be called Guruji’s Magnum Opus.”
