Mumbai, August 11, 2026: Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is all set to enter a new chapter in her television career as the host of the popular Marathi quiz show ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’.
Sony Marathi and Sony LIV recently announced Madhuri Dixit as the new face of the show, unveiling the campaign ‘Aata Khel Badalnar’. The announcement marks a fresh phase for the Marathi adaptation of the popular Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? format.
Madhuri shared her excitement about taking on the hosting responsibility, describing the show as more than just a quiz programme. According to the actor, the show celebrates knowledge, curiosity, aspiration, hope and the courage to dream. She also expressed excitement about meeting contestants, hearing their stories and witnessing their dreams unfold on the show.
The announcement is particularly significant as it marks Madhuri Dixit’s return to television hosting after more than two decades. She had previously hosted the television show Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai in 2002.
‘Kon Honar Crorepati’ has previously been hosted by popular Marathi personalities including Sachin Khedekar, Swapnil Joshi and Nagraj Manjule. Madhuri now takes over the iconic hot seat, bringing a new energy and personality to the long-running quiz format.
The upcoming season will be available on Sony Marathi and Sony LIV. The makers have announced that the show is coming soon, while the official premiere date is yet to be revealed.
With the tagline ‘Aata Khel Badalnar’, the new season promises to bring a fresh experience for Marathi audiences, combining knowledge, entertainment, aspirations and the dreams of contestants.
