Former Home Minister, Amit Shah and Narendra Modi aide has applied for appearing in CBI Court at Mumbai in fake encounter case of Tulsiram Prajapati and Sohrabuddin Sheikh, when he was HM of Gujarat. Shah’s lawyer has filed application for exemption for which hearing is scheduled on July 17. Judge J T Utpat reprimanded Shah’s counsel for seeking exemption without assigning any reason to it.
“Every time you are giving this exemption application without assigning any reason,” judge Utpat had said. Utpat was transferred to Pune on June 25. CBI charge-sheeted Shah and 18 others, including several cops, in the case last September.
