Oath ceremony of new cabinet ministers scheduled today afternoon has been postponed. Exact time of oath ceremony has not been given. It is a big surprise that the cabinet will be formed by evening without informing Raj Bhavan at Gandhinagar. Since late night there are speculations of MLAs being inducted in the cabinet. Team of Bhupendra Patel cabinet ministers will be finalized today afternoon. To form cabinet ministry is a purview of Chief Minister in consulation with party seniors , local MLA’s feedback and sources. List of cabinet ministers is finalized. Today by 10 am all MLAs were called by BJP Gujarat.
BJP is known for discipline , stern action and surprises.
Presently talks are led by Bhupendra Yadav and Santosh with Chief Minister and Gujarat BJP President CR Patil. The meeting is going on with utmost secrecy.
22 to 25 ministers of Gujarat are likely to be sworn-in. It is learnt that new faces will be included with no repeat theory in new cabinet ministry of Bhupendra Patel government. New ministers will have pressure to perform and prove themselves in view of Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022. Equation to appease all community would be considered in forming cabinet ministry.
Round of metings going at Gujarat BJP President CR Patil’s residence. More than 10 MLAs have approached President Patil. There is a rush and race to become minister for 1.5 years.
Changes in CMO Chief Minister Office bearers took place before announcement of the cabinet. Pankaj Joshi becomes CM’s new Additional Chief Secretary,Avantika Singh replaces Ashwini Kumar as IAS Avantika Singh becomes CMO Secretary
In Gandhinagar, offices of Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Vasanbhai Ahir, Vibhavariben Dave , Kumar Kanani and Ishwar Parmar were vacated.
