Today in Ahmedabad, in response to Public Interest Litigation PIL Gujarat High Court has directed that Gujarat government to clarified on admission criteria to Class 1. HC has suggested to amend rule of admission to class 1 with any ward with more than 6 years of age. Present rule was 5 years of age for admission to class 1 in schools of Gujarat. Government within 10 days will convey its decision to High Court.
